I think they know they're quick but unreliable. All they need is for one not to break to have a chance.

Ford runs 2 cars in the US in the Weathertech championship and 2 cars in the WEC. Having all 4 participate seems like the right thing so no teams/drivers are left out. Plus, the extra "learning" they will do allows for quicker development for future races.

If GM had factory teams in WEC as well, I would imagine they would be there too. The lone Corvette in WEC will be there in GTE-AM.

Yes, easier to win with 4 bullets in the gun instead of 2, but that's what each team has.
