Default Steering wheel help

I see alot of wheels that need this part or that part to work and it's kind of Frankensteined together. Is there a kit made that is everything you need from start to finish?

That is a great idea, but I haven't come across any so far.

Here's a list of what I used

An adapter for your Gen of vette ((NRG SRK-177H for c6) fyi, i did have to cut the plastic lip off the steering column casing to stop it rubbing)

a spacer or quick release (OMP 60mm spacer) that fits the adapter and your new steering wheel

and an airbag simulation resistor.

I would also get a big antistatic bag to store your airbag in.

hope this helps.

What he said. So many variables to play with. I wasted some time and money on mine, here is what I remember:

The NRG hub/adapter is the one to get- the sparco/momo one doesnt fit as well and doesn't have the fittings to make horn wiring easy. SRK-170H if you have a C5.

After that I got a Sparco D shaped wheel and 2" spacer-- spacing is perfect for me.

You can buy 2 x 1 ohm resistors at radioshack for about $5- there's your airbag simulator.
