Default CAM Challenge Autocross video. 4/30/2016.

One of those last minute decisions. Late Friday night I decided to go. Saturday started with rain in the morning. I almost went back home, but lucky for me, I stayed. It wasn't that wet when CAM S went out. 3 laps in the morning. 3 laps in the afternoon. Top time of the day and SCCA provided all of us dinner at a very nice restaurant. Wow!
Sunday we had 3 laps to qualify us for the CAM Challenge. I made it through all the rounds and took top time of the day. They take the winners in CAM S, C, and T and race in a PAX format for the winner.
Brett Madsen took his Mustang for the win. I lost by 0.06 came in 2nd. Very well run event. Thanks,

My best run of the weekend.

Steve

I know I joked, but thanks for coming out Steve! You definitely pushed me to drive faster... but apparently not cleaner :p

Let me know any other events you have planned for the year, and I can try to make it out.

Hey, Steve, David, and Tom, if you are looking for some fun during 4th of July weekend, you guys should come up to Crows Landing for the Amercian Autocross Series Larry Park Memorial event. The courses for both days are guaranteed to be a Corvette from hell course. I know that it would be a long haul for David but, it is not that far for Steve and Tom. The course will be designed by Frank Stagnaro in spirit of Larry Park. Larry liked fast Corvette courses with 90 MPH straights and slaloms. If you have never attended an American Autocross Event, you at least need to try one. They are like potato chips, you always want more.

Glad you came out also. That was a fun race in the final. I turned my best time of the weekend on that run.

The course was pretty good. Plenty wide for everyone. Thanks.

You didn't have fun on the final 4? Teacher, Student pairing. I thought it was a classic match. I couldn't believe SCCA actually paid for that great dinner. See you at the next event.

Congrats on a great finish.👍 Which brand of tire did you decide to run with for the event?
