Default Types of sheet foam rubber - if you are knowledgeable pls click in - not about Vette'

I would like to buy some to rebuilt my inversion boots. The mfg. is not any help. Interested in selling another pair rather than rebuilding them. I checked into the subject as I could, but there are so many types I am at a loss. I am pretty sure I can buy what I need online & you know me, I love a little project, but what do I need? It's 5/8 inch and should NOT be too easy to compress. Your whole body weight is on it when you hang.

Here's a pic. Thanks if you know anything about this & if you know where to get it please share.

My business builds protective equipment for skateboarding for pros like Danny Way, Bucky Lasek and PLG let me know the size you need and I'll send some out. In our top of the line knee pads we use 3 different densities of a closed cell foam.

Great, thanks, I'll measure them tonight, just back from autox.

It looks like two 10" x 18" wiil do it. I'll pm my address to you. If I am correct it's about 5/8 to 1 inch thick & needs a "tough skin" on both sides. One to glue to the boot and the other side will rub on leg/ankle/shoe as you hang.

I'll peel the old off & use as a template to cut the new. Can you recommend a glue that will stick to plastic & the foam?

Happy froggy

My friend z06801 has run out at the moment. Anyone else know foam products & can direct me.

I was at a car upholstery shop a couple of days ago & he had a lot but it was all too soft & did not have a protective skin on it like I need for the boots.

Thanks.

Water skis use some good stuff for the boots. Try a good sporting goods place that my be able to get some. They do have to repair from time to time.

Yes, that would be the kind of material, if I knew what to call it, I could probably go online & buy it, but I don't know what it's called.

That's a neoprene rubber.

Thanks,

I'll see if I can source it in a small quantity that I need, if not I'd love to take you up on that offer when you get your stock back up.
