Hello everyone,

I joined the SCCA less than a year ago, and this is my DD and weekend warrior. (Not as cool as everything else here though)

I have done some autocross...

(One of these is not like the others)

But rallycross is a whole bag-o-fun!...

Enjoy that car, I respect all the racers who put it on the line, with no excuses.

Thanks! I really enjoy it... the car opens up a world of adventures that you wouldn't get to experience with an econobox. I have had up to the floor boards in snow, side ways in corn fields and cross country on power tour. It even made BANGSHIFT.COM about two months ago:

http://bangshift.com/general-news/tr...llycross-duty/

(Alittle more history there... with out me spaming in a bunch of threads from the forum here)

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.. but you LIVE once!

Hey guys. My wife just got me an SCCA membership as a promotion present. I have a decently modified C5 and I'm brand new to autocross/solo. Where should I start for advice and whatnot? I'm in Atlanta.

Go to your next local event, introduce yourself around - especially to Corvette guys, tell them you are a novice, they'll take care of you.
