Who's going to SVRA Indy this year?
Just wanting to see who's going this year and what you're bringing? We will be back with 4 Vette's and for the first time all 4 in the pro am. I am not bringing the 63 since we are headed to Monterey with it in August so the 69 is the car this year. Look me up in the #16.
See you at the races!

Garrett, I'll miss seeing you this year. Your 63 is one of my favorites. Are you racing anyplace else this year?

I will miss racing at Indy and Monterey this year, and I will miss seeing y'all this year, but Jerry Golnick, Vic Edelbrock, and Tom McIntyre will be there to help you represent the 63s of course, so have a GREAT time there

Steve, Jim Glass is going again this year, with his red 65, but I won't be making it. I'm not happy about missing it either, but I have major work going on in my home, and just can't get away.
The most frustrating part is that I'm going to be missing the US Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen in September too. It's my favorite event of the year, and this year the featured marque is the Corvette, but I have a family commitment, that I can't get out of.
That's a good looking new car you have there. Have a good time at Indy Be sure to stop by and say hi to Jim. Good luck.

Doug Rippie built it back from the GT1 car it turned into later in its life. Log book from 1975. It did need a lot of clean up though......

So how's the new car running Steve? I saw on race monitor that you snuck into the upper 1:40's with it this afternoon.
I don't know if you've seen Jim, but his weekend has turned to crap, at least so far. He broke a halfshaft U-joint in testing Wednesday, tearing up a shock and shock mount. He had a spare halfshaft, but not a shock or mount. Jegs overnighted a pair of shocks, but sent the wrong ones. He was able to weld the shock mount up, but they ended up sending one of the guys to Jegs in Ohio, to try and get the right shocks. So today was completely wasted for him!
To top it off, Pete Halmser, the pro teamed with Jim again this year, is having back trouble. From what I heard, he spent they afternoon at the hotel, nursing his back.
If there is a bright spot, Peter got down into the 1:43's with Jim's car during practice yesterday, before the U-joint failed. If they can get the car fixed, and if Jim can get close to Peter's times, they'll be in good shape for Saturday. Michael Donohue's (very fast) white 63, was the only BP car in the 43's today. Everyone else in the 43's or faster, were in big block AP cars, or TA cars.
Stay safe out there, and have fun!

Hi Glenn
We are having troubles too. One of our cars blew a motor so out of the Pro Am. Another bent a valve but is almost fixed. Another has a rear main seal leaking so will see on that? And we are about to change transmissions on mine as 2nd and 4th are grinding really bad. Not happy with the times but new gear box and new tires( the ones on it are from last October) for tomorrow should help?

Do you have to swap the trans, laying on your back, or can pull you floors and do it from above?
