How Important is Rake in a C5Z
I have heard that C5Zs handle better with some rake with the front lower than the rear. The OEM tire setup allows for some of this with smaller diameter tires in front.
So if you switch to a square set up you obviously lose some if not all of that rake. Is there any need to raise the back or lower the front in response to this?

Yes, it will help with high speed stability. Give it about 5/8" take front to rear.

Where do you measure the rake from? I have used the jacking points and for now there is no rake at all.
My choice is to lower the front end more but am concerned about going too low so I guess l will have to raise the rear a bit. Probably OK as the car is understeering a bit but will have to check the rear toe.

Best to measure it with an angle gauge on the frame rails. Assuming you have a level surface that the car is parked on. Start at 1-1/2 deg lower in front. Don't measure this by the fender openings, plastic bodywork is not that accurate.

I have found that a very small spoiler on the rear helps tremendously in high speed straight line stability. Before the spoiler, the car would sway back and forth sometimes and especially while threshold braking.

I simply told YYZ06 that I am having a little trouble finding the picture. I am out of state at this time. I am still looking. I cant' find it on the website of Blaine nor Elite Engineering but I thought I had purchased it from one of them years ago. It is a small, angled back clear spoiler attached with adjustable turn buckles. Doesn't slow too much on the straights and really stabilizes the car well. I have no splitter, not needed for the small spoiler.

Did GM "fix" this in the C6 by having the front and rear spring height adjusters "max" out while keeping rake?
C5 you can install lowering bolts in the back and go super low...not the same in a C6. Curious if adjusting the C6 all the way down maintains rake?
