Default Track tire question (C6Z)

Hello everyone. I am looking at buying some scrub slicks instead of street tires. I have looked around and see Pirelli slicks but can only find the rears in a 305/690/19. Will these fit ok on stock C6Z wheels, and will there be any noticeable handling differences with the smaller width?

OR:

Would I be better off to find R7s in the correct sizes for my wheels?

Im open to other suggestions as well. Thanks in advance.

I just bought a set of 305/660-18F and 315/680-18R for my C7Z. The diameters look dead on but obviously there is less of a stagger front to rear width. I haven't had a chance to run them on track yet though.

I have bought several sets of tires from http://www.jbracingtires.net/ and have had great interactions with them. Phone is the best way to get a hold of them, but they do respond to emails

The guys from GT Racing probably have 325's in a 19" wheel conti's and pirelli's. Look in the racing classified or search their threads. They are great to work with. The bias ply slicks are narrower and require a relatively wider wheel. You are referring to the difference in two completely different types of tire.

Have a set of C6Z OEM size Hoosier R6's with about 10-12 track day sessions on them. Still in great shape but about 3.5 yrs. old. Asking $500 plus shipping.
