A PCA race with no rev-limiter or straights? Tell me it's not true. Well it is. The famous El Toro runways are getting torn up soon, for you guessed it, houses. So PCA is actively looking for new lots. This ones pretty good. Right at the ocean. The lot is a little small, but as usual the PCA track builders did a great job. This lap was good for 2nd. overall in street tires.

Nice place and nice run (as always) Steve. Where's this venue again?
BTW I wonder if Porsche would allow the PCA run autox events at their Porsche Experience Center when it opens in the south bay area.

Hey Steve, this is Bruce and I used to run with you guys a GT3, a Lotus and then a black Viper ACR that I drove a couple time. Just now that w/ a baby girl, and other stuff in the way, I haven't been able to come out much. I'm working on restoring a '67 Vette and when done would like to bring it out to run some fun laps. I remember back in '03 when I first joined the PCA, we used to run at the Irwindale Speedway. Course times were around 65 to 75 seconds so the parking lot is big enough for us to carry some decent speed. Nothing is a worse than a course that lasts 30 seconds and you never get out of first gear. PCA should looking into this place again. I remember Steve E used to run his souped up Camaro there too so he should remember.
