305s, on 10" wide or 12" wide rim?
305/30/19s for the rear
recommended wheel size is 10.5 to 11.5"
of course the wheels im getting are only available in 10" or 12"
both equally 1/2" away from recommended.
will be a dedicated HPDE car.
which size would you choose?
pics would be a huge help too, to see bulge or stretch.

12, a bit of stretch is always good for track. I know it's not exactly the pic your looking for, but the front shows 275s stretched on a 10.5, the rear shows 315s on the same 10.5. The 275s had much less "squirm" in hard corners...

FYI we ran 275's on a 10.5 in World Challenge to get as much tire contact as we could.
The Camaro WC car ran 305's on all four corners but we were rule limited to 10 front and 11 rear wheels for the cars.

I'd say it depends on the tires as well. A tire like the Bridgestone re71 will run wide and could easily fit onto a 12" tire without much if any stretch.
for example here's one of the 305 bridgestones next to the 335 rival S. the rival fits on a 12" well but could easily fit on a 13" without stretch.
