My old 1969
Good day all:
I live on Long Island. I have a 1969 Corvette that I still like to run in time trials and racing schools. I have some handling issues with the Rear end and it is getting very frustrating. Without too much into it, I was wondering are there shops that still work on 1969's that guys like to road race? I call Phoenix and they said it was too old.
If you guys know any professional shops that I can discuss issue with (like a Phoenix) please let me know
Thanks!

Call up Danny Popp at the Reading Road location of McCluskey Chevy in Cincinatti, OH.
He makes his '72 (I think) Vette RAFT around an autocross course. I'm not sure, but he may track day it too.
RAFT = (Rip and F'ing Tear)

Danny is a great place to start. You might also try Duntov Motor Company. They do a lot of C3 vintage racing cars.

I saw lots of stuff on Danny and his autocross car. But does he have his own shop? McCluskey Chevy seems like a avg Chevy dealer. How do you hook up with him?

I saw a lot of videos about Danny Poop and his blue Corvette. Does he have a website and work on customer cars? McCluskey Chevy seems like a regular Chevy dealer. How do you contact him?

Danny works at McCluskey Chevy, but basically has his own area. He has been doing to for 30+ years I think. Multiple road race and auto cross champion. But.....he is very busy, so you must be patient. Check his info out on facebook, lsfest results, and optima street car challenge. PM me your info, I have to stop by his shop next week, I can pass it on if I make it out there.
He does it all setup, tunes and alignments.
