Default Auto blipper for C6 Z06

I just spent the last weekend at Barber Motorsports Park and was able to test an auto blipper. My conclusions...Epic Fail... I dont think it ever auto blipped when I needed it to, and definitely auto blipped when I did not want it to. I think it also caused the car to go in limp mode at one point and caused a throttle position sensor code. We unhooked the battery and reconnected...turned off the blipper and will be taking back it out of the car and going back to blipping the throttle myself.

Ordered mine and it's on the way. From looking at the online manual seems like calibrating can make or break this thing.

Mine worked fantastic from day one. Worthless on the street but awesome on track.

Have to ask?

Were the connections solid?

Was it tested and calibrated before trying on track? I like a smidge of delay & a 5-600 RPM blip. Check while I'm in the staging area and have ***** marked.

Did the model # match the year, was it new in box? and if for an 09 or newer was it properly calibrated?

Have done a bunch of track data logs & it performs as advertised. Shows up in the throttle logs as a perfect blip varying in intensity based on time of blip.

If I can teach myself to heel/toe.....anyone can.

Some buddies were up there this weekend, one with a blue with silver stripes 944 with a LS swap, the other in a newer yellow Boxster.

Connections are good. I probably could have spent more time before hitting the track, but I was planning on dialing it in while i was warming up on the track. Just never seemed to be working correctly. Occasionally it hit several times in a row after i had down shifted, and then when the car went into limp mode I just decided to shut it off.

I was in the yellow Big *** Vette. In the end it should have been called Black *** Vette because my tune was rich! I remember getting to drive with the 944.

It was my first event in three years. So glad to be back in the driver's seat.

Sorry you had issues, mine works as advertised. Currently have 10 track days with auto-blip and would hate to go without it.

I have known two people that had issues with the auto-blip. Both times it was the connections. It also MUST be grounded where he states. The customer/ tech service was great. Very helpful. We swore their was something wrong with it also. He even sent another one to prove he was right. He was. it was install error. I have had it two years now and it is flawless.

Every time I ever heard or had an issue, it was the T-Taps... One bad connections will give you the APP code and cause limp mode

Absolutely worth pulling the seat out first.

Still trying to figure out how someone "much" larger than me does it without the seat out?

You would think I would of, but all 3 times, I left the seats in..

Although it was waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy more fun installing it in the caged car....

Autoblip put to work. I like it but i couldn't find the sweet spot with the *****. Sometimes it would blip too much sometimes not enough. Made a few 4th to 3rd downshifts a bit hairy. Probably just user error, bad consistency with downshifts etc. i'm sure i'll get it down next time out.

So most seem to like these for track days? I've never been good at heel/toe with my stock pedals, so I'd love to have this. Seems like installation is a bear though? Are the instructions clear as far as what wires you need to tap into?
