Default First time on track with the 550whp C5Z video

Putnam Park KY PCA Fall Festival. I did a 1:17.3 in my second session ever in the car.
The youtube description has most of the mods. Tires were 2012 date code Hoosier R6 that I got from a forum member here for 340 bucks. On my next session after this I completely separated the belt in the left front tire. (I know that's what you get with 2012 used tires) I found a donor set of fronts and finished the weekend.

I got them at a 10/10ths event in March or April. I can get you the model number next time I'm at my car. They're great gloves

He's uncomfortable because he has a 911 Turbo that goes 10mph slower through every section of the course

They let you drive in shorts? Seems all the groups I drive with you got to have long pants. Nice. Love Putnam Park

Looks like a fun track, and nice driving. I'd love to see some telemetry on that LS3 for comparison to my little LS6

I'm assuming he's a friend and not an instructor. Based on the driving, I would think you qualify for solo

Thanks for the kind words. Yes he's a co worker. We both sell Porsche. I'm actually a PCA instructor which is why he's able to ride with me.

My C5Z with LS6, some mods, running fairly new R7 315's all around did a couple of 116.6's last year, maybe year before, with 10/10ths at Putnam. Bill usually has lap timer hooked up if you have a transponder on board.

Sorry, I should have added that the suspension is lowered and stiffened with a small lip spoiler only on back. The LS6 last made 418HP/373T on the dyno. Had the R6's been newer I am sure that the LS3 above would have done better.
