That's awesome! I wish I had the resources to run open wheel

I also got the times for the 250s at Thunderhill
The big track they run low 1:50s, on the west track it's 1:18s and with the bypass 1.04s...

Since I've never been out there or seen the track, are they good times?

No worries about FB lol

I also build open wheel cars for guys on a very limited basis.

The car in my avatar is a 1984 Reynard Formula Atlantic I built out of a show car.

This is the Atlantic that I'm currently the crew chief (and occasional test driver) on, 2002 Swift. It's crazy fast and corners better than a kart due to the wings and tunnels generating 2,000 lbs. of downforce.

The times are fast, Bill (RedtopZ) , a national champion runs in the high 1:40 in a GT2 Corvette.

The red & yellow Atlantic is capable of the higher 1:30's and could run a 1:10 n the West course.

A newer Formula Ford would match the 250's lap times.

I'm surprised no-one mentioned Superkarts in this topic:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u361DTg3DUw

Or do you race those anymore in states? Here in europe this class is still alive. These are two-cylinder 250cc engines with a bit over 100 hp.

EDIT: My mistake, Superkarts were mentioned

superkarts aren't as big here as they are in Europe.

I also have a 250 superkart just waiting on a newer chassis
