Default Anybody running NASA or SCCA Championships this weekend?

I see quite a few Corvettes on the entry list for NASA at Watkins Glen. Mark at AMT posted a photo this morning showing that he's out already. Is anyone else there that wants to let us know how it's going?

Yeah my buddy wrecked my car in Thursday practice. Tis repairable but the season is over. Super bummed since I had the pace to win it all. Oh well. Car will be fixed and faster next year and driver was unhurt.

I was up there watching racing buddies - I did not have the time to race/run it this year (yes, sacrilege, I know!). A very fun weekend. Wife and I flew up early Friday and then back Sunday night. First time to Mid-Oh....what an awesome track!

Major bummer StreetSpeed.
Pix looks like it was taken @ T10. Did it happen there?

PS: you have a much better attitude than me.

Exit of 9. Hit the wall about 33 mph according to data. Making a plan to fix it now. Yes it sucks. But if it's any consolation the championship race on Sunday was a total **** show. Lots of wrecked cars and only 4 laps of green racing over a 45 minute race.

T9 catches a lot of people out. Before the repave, when the surface was more like the FDR, I practically parked it in that corner to avoid the armco @ track out. I think minivans doing the lunchtime Taste of the Track pace laps out drove me there. With the grip there now, I feel like I am trying to make up time from laps last year!

Good luck with the rebuild. 33mph sure does a sh*% load of damage.
