Default Clear Plasti-Dip for paint protection?

Anyone tried it? You can buy and apply it with a spray gun now.

I used it once on my C6Z. Did not like it compared to the Collision Wrap that I used before and after. The plasti dip has to be thick so it can be peeled off, however, if you don't tape off areas where overspray can occur it can be a PIA to get off. Door openings, gaps around lights and other body parts may not have a thick enough coating to allow the coating to peel off so you end up rubbing it off like using an erasor to remove pencil marks on paper. It took me months to get it out of all the places it went. In my opinion it was easier to install the Collision Wrap than it was to mask the car and then spray the Plasti Dip. The only major chip that I got on the front end was when something hit the Plasti Dip and penetrated it. The 3 mil thick Collision Wrap held up much better to things that hit the front fascia.
