Very cool gesture on your part Mark. I am in on the pre-sale of the C6Z kit for sure!! I hope you do end up doing it

By the way, how goes the rebuild on the C5? Haven't seen any blog updates...

Thanks - the C6Z is definitely coming. C7 might be first however. Just ordered a C7 cradle and control arms so I can do a much more legit test fit.

I'll update the rebuild thread shortly. Car left the body shop last week. Car is straight and re-body paneled so now the engine can go back in and all the other race car stuff can commence.

If the instructions and initial inspection are any indication, this kit will take over the market. Again I'm impressed with the company. The wait was worth it!

I just received mine. Great looking product and there is a very nice instruction booklet which looks to be considerable help in taking some guess work out of the equation.

They do exist! Instructions!

One of my biggest gripes in this hobby is these expensive parts come with weak to zero instructions. Bravo to Mark and the AMT guys for putting together some easy to follow instructions. I have the driver side done and will be tackling the passenger side by the end of the weekend.

I should be able to get down to county corvette for an alignment in February and on track in March. I'll report back on how that process goes.

I'm setting mine at T2 for all three with the goal of -2.5 front and -2.0 rear.

Dan

Thanks Dan and all for the kind words. I am absolutely aware that no one wants to send thorough instructions with their product anymore. So I went for quality printing, quality pictures, and as much information as I thought people would tolerate to take as much guess work out of the setup as possible. As soon as I get my car back I intend to record high quality step by step videos as well to put up on the YouTube page.

I too just received my AMT Motorsports Camber kit and Upper Stud Kit. All the plate markings are clear and very well done. An extra for your clear instructions. Your "Guidelines for Use" section adds additional understanding for my anticipated upcoming install. And thanks for the heads up on the last page of Rev 1-17. Super nice job!

Quick review on this product. I installed over the holiday. Great product with very good instructions. Now I have NO worries of my alignment changing.

Also kinda cool how you can communicate your settings:
I nailed both sides pretty symmetrically
F: -2.7 camber / 8 caster (S2/T1 and T3/T1 w/ 1.30mm shims on forward UCAs)
R: -1.5 camber (T1 and T2... cradle is little offset)

Can get a lot more camber in the front, but I was setting and forgetting for track/street.

T1 is kinda a bitch, but that's the point to get the most offset. I didn't loosen bolts and was able to pry it into position on jack stands. With lift and loosening other components should be fairly easy. In the rear I was stuck around 1deg with stock cams on 1 side due to offset cradle... I was able to get to 1.5deg with this kit.

Thanks Mark!

I'm looking for basically the same end result. Planning to take my car in for the alignment in February, I'll post up my settings as well.

Did you do the alignment or did a shop do it? I'm interested in how long it took. I know theres more to getting these set up initially and I want to give my shop a heads up.
Thank you

I aligned myself and got pretty close my first go since targeting close to my cam positions. If current alignment is good, take pics of the cam settings and will be easier to estimate starting point. As the instructions say max the rear arm at T1 then tune front lower and uppers with shims. Mark has a handy chart in the instructions which helped and can visually estimate by lining up the bolt holes comparing cam and plate... this is why I chose S hole for 1 side. Likely want more shim on the front upper for caster.

Good starting point is T3/T1... front lower arm inward decreases camber / increases caster. More upper front shim decreases camber / increases caster. Of course if cradle is offset can get tricky... I'm lucky with only diff between sides is front lower plate position.
