What are your favorite gloves for summer hpde?
Searched on here - did not find much info.
Was wondering what everybody uses for gloves in the summer. My hands sweat so I need something. Was actually thinking about motocross gloves.
Thanks

I use a pair of Simpson long gloves. SFI5 rated. You can see a range of prices from $50 to $180 in that list shown above. The $50 one are pretty good, however, what you might want to go with depends on how the gloves feel when on your hands.

My hands sweat a lot too and I bought a pair of Under Armor wide receiver gloves which I've used for autocross and HPDE for a couple years now and they've worked great. Good grip and the back side of them breathes pretty well.

Safety Car
I picked up a really neat trick from Danny Kellemeyer.
Once I'm in the car I soak the palms with water. It really improves the grip on the wheel.
Try it.

Ha. I've had to dump water on Danny's gloves in the past when he forgot to grab the bottle before strapping in. He uses a stock steering wheel so it helps with leather on leather contact. I have a suede Sparco wheel so I don't have an issue with grip with gloves. (I use a pair of GForce SFI rated gloves.)

I use Sparco gloves.
Fun note, the Sparco.it (the Italian Sparco online store) has then for like 47 Euro which (vs like 89USD on the US store) and since they're gloves, shipping will be inexpensive so it can be cheaper to shop the italian store.
