Default Anyone with a C5 APR Splitter?

I had mine installed a while ago. It only came with 2 struts to hold it in place. I used a level to set it straight, but it bows in the middle where the two struts connect. I was thinking about adding 2 more little struts, but I'm not sure that'd do too much more. The APR splitter doesn't come out that much around the edges. If you can see in this pic, it isn't a straight splitter. It has a bulge in the front that sticks out a bit more. That's the area that bows down a bit for me. Is this normal/optimal?

It's hard for me to see the problem. But you could ease the
tension on the strut to relax the splitter.I hope it goes your
way....later.

Default Apr splitter question

I just just ordered one for my car. I have the tiger shark front bumper so my install will be a little different. But was wondering what you connected the struts to behind the bumper?

Judging by the distortion in the front bumper and the angle of the supports into the bumper, fairly certain there's nothing behind there except a screw.

That piece is nothing more than a decoration for a street car. It's too high and it has no rigidity. If you can stand on it....it's doing little. I don't know how far back it extends but since the C5 is a bottom breather from the factory, I'm going to says pretty useless as an undertray as well..... or worse.

^Yeah, for sure. Also looks like when you hit it off the ground its pushing upward on the strut and then creating the distortions. It's a useless piece that's flimsy and not positioned correctly as stated.
