Aim Solo popularity.......
Hey All, How popular is the Aim solo among you track rats? I have been running the base Aim Solo for years with good success. I have just added them to our online store but didnt know the interest among the forum members here. Any feed back would be great.

I've used a SOLO DL for a couple years and love it. I have it integrated with their Smarty Cam HD and it's seamless, simple and provides great track videos with data overlay.

Aim
I have been using the AIM solo DL for a little over a year now. I borrowed one from a friend and then bought one after that weekend. I haven't had any issues and integrate the data with other software vs the smarty cam.

Drifting
Had a base model, it got stolen, bought another one. Great tool for data and saving tires/brakes.

Where do you guys mount the Smarty Cam?

I run the C5, so it's the base model for me. I have found the data to be very useful. The unit is easy to mount and battery life is good, however, no matter what the meter says the unit should be charged every night if using battery power.

I've been running mine for 3 years. Great tool for analyzing you track performance and finding how to go faster. The integration with the C7 is very good. I use the PDR for video and the Solo DL for actual data analysis.
Given how Aim has been refreshing their product line I'm surprised we haven't seen an updated Solo DL. Not that I can think of anything to improve.

Been using mine for over 3 years now and love its reliability and simple ease of use. Also great for engineering types like me who analyze it to death with the software/graphing package.

Love my AIM Solo. C5 but I'm running SmartyCam and the OBD connector for power. Working with some guys in the paddock I found a TON of time at NJMP just by comparing data.
