Looking for wrecked C5 6-speed
Pretty much any year, coupe or hardtop preferred, with tons of body/tub damage. Would prefer the frame and subframes be as straight as possible.
If you come across anything cheap, keep me in mind.

I'm probably going to build a C6 World Challenge car over the next year, and run it in late 05 or 06'. I'd rather start with a C5 chassis than spedn $40k on a new C6, considering I'd have to replace the entire drivetrain and body anyway.

Dave,
Give Norman Deaton a call 864 576 7109.
He is located near Spartanburg, S.C. All is does is 84 & up Corvette salvage - Complete cars w/salvage, fire, or water titles. Some rebuilt & ready to drive or if you would rather fix it yourself, he can supply you with most any used part necessary.
He works from home so it may take a few calls to catch him but its worth a try. He is a super good guy to deal with.
( If anybody needs to know: No I don't work for him & No I'm not related to him either )

Everything for WC is aftermarket, and they are making a retro-fit tub for the C5 that will allow the C6 Carbon panels to fit the C5t frame.
