1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe
I am interested in finding a realistic value for a car that I presently own. It is '63 Sebring Silver (correct color) black interior matching numbers car, 327 (375 hp), fresh engine 1000 miles ago, originally a fuelie car, currently running carborated, 4 speed/with Hurst shifter, paint is 98% their is only two or three spots that could need attention, aluminum knock off wheels. I did install after market A/C three years ago. This car came in 3rd at Beechmont Chev. car show. Car looks & drives great.
I am looking at a 67 roadster that I would like to purchase. The 67 is 350, not matching numbers, It is blue/white interior, has hardtop, has been gone over. It came in 1st two years ago at Beechmont Chev car show. All over these two cars are comparable with the exception of the matching numbers.
My questions is what would be a good number to sell my 63 & at the same time what is a fair number for the 67. When I bought the 63 I was looking for the 67 roadster as my preference.
Thank You,
Dennis Gastrich

Dennis,
If it was a fuelie car then the horsepower rating would be 360 not 375. The silver color was an $80 option in 63 and is a desireable color, however red would have been the preference for interior colors.
It's really hard to judge prices withou seeing the cars, both are very desireable midyears. The coupe for being the first model year and the only year for the split window. The 67 for being the last year of the midyears, and a convertable to boot.
If the fuel unit was on the 63, and the cars are both in good shape, the 63 would be more $$$$ hands down. As it stands, I would say the 63 might be worth a little more than the 67. Probably in the high 40's to high 50's..... just my .o2.....

Dennis, Does your car have the original block? Silver and black is an awesome combo. Any pictures? With the fuel injection and the original motor you would be at 65 or better if the car was in excellent condition. If it's a nom then mid to upper thirties.
