RED ALERT: 67 BB Multiple Sale Offers!
I don't normally do this, but...
I saw a nice 67 BB Coupe pop on the Vancouver Craigslist yesterday (since flagged for removal) for a mere $18,000 - so I e-mailed them. Got a response today:
"Thanks for being interested in buying my 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe. It is in a good condition, no scratches, no damages, never been implicated in any accidents, no problems at the engine, runs very well. The car is registered in Cookstown, ON, has a CLEAR and CLEAN TITLE and you will not have any problems to register the car in your name. It has an 427ci 390HP engine, 4-speed manual transmission, 26,000 km's, VIN 194377S116416, a perfect car. The price is not negotiable, $18,000.00 firm. I know that this is a low price for such a good car, but I need to buy a house and I decided to sell my car. I hope that you will agree with my price and there will not be any argues regarding my price. I would like to complete this transaction asap, cause I need money asap and I don't have so much time at my disposal. If you have any other questions, please reply me.
Thank you,"
So, I did a google search on the VIN, and it's for sale on e-bay (Item number: 160261865735) with 19 hours to go and bids up over $69,000.
RED ALERT!
Ya think we should tell the e-bay bidders?

Take a look at the eBay user name paulp6558, then take a look at the name on the NCRS cert. Paul Posesorski. Who is the person claiming to own the car in the craigslist ad? Is it Paul? Ask for a phone number to speak with him in person.
