-Many new body parts by Mid-America Industries
-65-66 Big Block Style Hood
-Front has molded in headlights, lights located below in custom grille
-Factory removable hardtop with glass
-No side glass in doors
Frame/ Suspension
-Mid-America Industries custom "Grand Sport" style 4" tube frame
- professionally jig built
-Setup with Mustang II front suspension up front
-Solid 9" Ford rearend with triangulated 4-link in rear
-Alden coilovers
-Wilwood front disc brakes w/ 4 piston calipers
-Stock type disc brakes in rear w/ parking brake
-31 spline center section in rear w/ 3.73 factory positraction
Engine/ Trans
-2000 LS1 from a Trans Am - 45k miles
-Matching 2000 T56 6 speed transmission
-LS6 intake manifold
-Longtube headers into custom dual exhaust
I am listing this 1964 Corvette for a friend. The car has a clean title and has been built well and driven! This is ready to finish to your liking with your paint/ final interior and finishing touches. The hard work is done and the car drives down the road well. The power is unreal and it is very reliable and can knock down some great mileage if you can keep your foot out of it. This is one you can drive while finishing or keep it as is and enjoy it like he has. It's amazing how this sinister looking satin black Corvette steals the show in a crowd full of stock ones. Below are the pics:
The car is pictured on BOTH the 15" and 17" torque thrust II wheels/ tires. The buyer has the choice of whichever is preferred for him/ her. The car is located in Davenport, Iowa. This is 2.5 hours west of Chicago on I-80. The car could be shipped at the buyers expense.
