61 for sale
As bad as I hate to I'm putting my 61 vette up for sale. It's jewel blue with white coves. Jewel blue/white coves is the original color for the car. It has had 1 older re-paint. It is a base engine car. 283/single 4 barrell, it has the 4 speed option as well as radio and heater. The engine is the original engine. Matching numbers. I really like this car, it drives great. It needed a new dash pad so i started changing it out. The more I got into it the more I wanted to redo. One thing led to another and I decided to restore the entire interior. the gauges have all been restored by corvette specialties. I have a new Al knock dash pad as well as carpet, door panels and kick panels. I also have have had the heater motor, and wiper motor rebuilt by Steve Hackel. I just sent a box of parts out for new cadium plating.
While the windshield was off I was going to put all new rubber on it and have the windshield posts replated. They are sent off as we speak. The top and bottom stainless for the windshield has sent off as well to glasswork for polishing, I have all new hardware to put everything back together with. I have all new heater core, valve, hoses, vent hoses, vent box etc. New firewall insulation. With the exception of the seats, I have everything new for the interior. news heater controls, hood latch cables. The seat covers are in excellent condition, that is why I did not change them. I am rebuilding the seat sliders. They have been sent off for new cadium plating. I just had the interior re-painted with Dupont Jewel Blue. I also had the gauge housing, package tray, package tray support, glove box door and a few other parts painted at the same time. The clutch and brake pedals and bracket, convertible top supports and a bunch of other black parts in the interior have also been painted. New rear wiring harness, dash harness up to the headlamps. The car is ready to start putting the interior back in. I also replaced all of the reinforcing brackets on the bottom of the car.
$57,500. You can reach me at 606-633-1214 or 606-634-1245. I can send you some pics. I've tried to upload some here but must be doing something wrong. you can E-mail me at hartcamp@hotmail.com

I've always been a fan of the Jewel Blue color. She's beautiful! Good luck with the sale.

Beautiful 61
I have always been a fan of Jewel Blue.
You should have no problem selling it, but with the economy the way it is it may take a little time.
Try posting some pics of the finished int., under hood and suspension. That may help.
