Default 1967 L88 Clone on Ebay

I have no affiliation with this car and am actually quite surprised at the bidding on it.

I guess we really don't. I emailed the seller a few days ago asking for additional pictures. I haven't received any emails yet.....doubt I will.

The L88 clones I have found that went through an auction have brought far less money. So my question is what is an L88 tribute car worth....given that its done with correct dated parts???

Not sure what your point is but I don't that there is a difference.

With a tribute the seller tells you it's a copy...a clone is an attempt to make the buyer believe it's the real thing...

If it was an attempt to make the buyer believe it's the real thing he would just call it an L88 and it would be known as a 'fake'.

Tribute and clone descriptors both let the buyer know it's not the real thing.

I guess a clone would be identical in every way and a tribute would only be similar yet dedicated to resemble the real thing, i.e. a non standard colour but resembling the real thing?
