1964 Corvette L76 Convertible NCRS Top Flight For Sale Stock #4075CBP Code correct Silver Blue exterior, code correct Blue interior with White vinyl seats and door panels, White convertible top. Numbers matching 365hp 327ci L76 engine, numbers matching 4 speed manual transmission, numbers matching 3.70 posi rear-end. Features include AM/FM radio, backup lights. Originally assembled on March 31, 1964, and purchased new right here in Atlanta at now defunct Nalley Chevrolet, this absolutely gorgeous 1964 Corvette Convertible was a one owner car up through 2007. This car was parked in a barn in 1979, and sat there until it was purchased and treated to a nut and bolt body-off restoration, which received the NCRS Regional Top Flight award in 2011. As one might suspect, this car is just about as nice as they get, correctness and condition-wise; you'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer '64. Additionally, this car is heavily documented with its original owner's manual (complete with near-mint original plastic sleeve), protect-o-plate, original keys with stampings, original title, restoration receipts and over 260 photos, and various other factory paperwork. Original mileage is 52,300, and is documented by a bill of sale and service records. This car's paint is in excellent condition, with a beautiful, mile-deep shine. All exterior glass shows a correct date code, including the windshield. Convertible top is in excellent condition, with no rips, tears, thin spots, or heavy stains, and the rear window is clear and pliable. Chrome bumpers are in excellent condition, and are some of the nicest we've seen on a midyear. Driver's exterior door handle is new, and in excellent condition; passenger's side looks to be older or original and in good condition, showing some patina. Weatherstripping is soft and in very good to excellent condition. Taillights are in very good to excellent condition with no cracks or hotspots. Reproduction bolt-on knockoff style wheels are in very good to excellent condition, with very good to excellent condition spinner caps. Tires are premium Goodyear Integrity whitewall radials, with full tread remaining at an average of 11/32nds. The interior of this 1964 Corvette L76 Convertible shows excellent condition seat covers, door panels, dash pads, gauges, seatbelts, center console, and carpet, all looking to have been replaced during the restoration. Steering wheel is an original in good condition with no cracks or splits. AM/FM radio is in place, and the clock is working with a correct non-quartz movement. The numbers matching L76 engine in this car shows original casting date March 21, 1964, and final assembly date March 24, 1964. Correct alternator, Holley carburetor, intake manifold, ignition shielding, hoses, hose clamps, and air cleaner are all present. This engine was rebuilt at the time of the restoration, and has been bored .020 over. The numbers matching transmission was also rebuilt at this time, and the rear-end was re-sealed. Rear-end shows date code March 20, 1964, and the "CD" (3.70:1 posi) stamping. The frame on this car is rust-free, solid, and clean enough to eat off of. All suspension has been rebuilt, complete with correct paint markings.
