58, 59, or 60 CORVETTE WANTED FOR $50,000
I could not change the headline in my other ad, and it was pointless to leave it that way, so here is my new ad. I have found out the only $25,000 vettes out there are scams on vette hound. So I have upped my paying price to $50,000. And that is all there is. The car will have to be road worthy, because I will have no money for repairs for 6 months or so. Anybody want to give their baby a good home? I am a retired mechanic that will not beat the hell out of it. Those day are 40 years in the past! I would prefer a car in Florida, Georgia, or Alabama because I intend on driving it home. So it needs to be 100% road worthy. Thanks, Bob **************************************** * I have decided instead of paying $56,000 for a 1960 vette that will be nothing but trouble, I am going to buy a 2014 vette for less money. True, it will have "only" a 6.2 V8, but that sucker turns out 430 HP! That's enough for me! Thanks for the help.

Its in NY... but the money is right
He has a $32-ASK, which should give you enough left over for a A1 paint job and a new hood and plenty of parts to keep you busy for a while

Maxchrome, I have been looking for a decent C-1 for a couple years and I am afraid you are right. 45-50 gets you an entry level car with more work to follow. We have a 75 convert we drive in the summer.. new plan sell the 75 and buy a late model C-6 convertible . Having more than enough c-2s to work on the fleet deserves a no worry trip car to enjoy. The 14s may not be available till fall so you have a waiting period ahead. Good luck.
