1967 Corvette 427

1967 Corvette 427. Complete frame off restoration in 2010. Only 2025 miles driven since restoration.I purchased this car under the impression it was a numbers matching 427 car, but after researching it was found to be a re stamped block and reproduction trim tag. Tuxedo black with red stinger and black interior. 427 435 horse motor with 4 speed manual transmission. Car is always stored in a climate controlled garage and never driven in rain. Oil is changed twice per year, all fluids were changed in 2013. This car was restored in Texas, then sold to Ohio in 2012.
Factory options include: L71 427 435hp Engine A82 Headrests A31 Power Windows M21 4-Speed Manual Transmission C48 Heater/Defrost Delete N14 Side Mount Exhaust U69 AM-FM radio This car is located in Cincinnati Ohio. I can deliver or arrange shipping. Selling because I no longer have time to enjoy this car. I can provide additional pictures and infomation if needed. Asking $77000 and am open to offers.

Was the car originally a small block and do you know what color the car was originally?
Do you have the tank sticker or any other documentation?
btw..pretty car.

You're probably right, but the current owner at some point found out that the car wasn't as it was represented and perhaps he may have been able from other owners to find out what the car really is. He states that the engine was stamped and has a resto trim tag, so was it a real big block car with a stamped engine or did it start life as a green base motored car. Perhaps he was able to contact previous owners that may have had some documentation.

IMHO, doesnt really matter, you couldn't ever have the car judged. If I was in the market, and wanted a car to drive, this would probably be it.
