Vehicle Description & Condition

Body:
This Corvette retains all of its original fiberglass body components that are in excellent condition. The car has excellent undamaged factory original body panels, beginning with the rear quarter section, original contour wheelwells and as new roof pillars, inner door jambs and window frame openings. Both doors, front fenders, front fascia with headlight buckets and hood are in excellent condition. The car has been fitted with a 1967 big block ‘stinger’ hood. There are no stress cracks or evidence of any previous body damage and/or repair. All gaps, fitment and alignment of all panels are excellent.

Drivetrain:
The powertrain features the era correct 327-300hp small block engine with Quadrajet four barrel carburetor. The engine remains in stock configuration, still retaining the original exhaust manifolds, intake and corvette valve covers. Optional Factory side exhausts are in excellent condition. The Muncie four speed is original as is the independent suspension rearend. Four wheel disc brakes were introduced as standard equipment for the 1965 model year. All suspension, steering and brake system components have been restored or replaced using only GM NOS replacement parts as required to maintain the integrity of this vehicle. All powertrain and driveline components are in excellent operating condition.

Paint Condition:
The exterior is finished in a dark metallic blue which is not a factory 1965 color but shows amazing on this car. The paint is in excellent condition having been recently applied over the fiberglass body resulting in a beautiful deep rich high gloss finish. Overall the metallic blue with white stinger hood makes for an absolutely beautiful color combination.

Chrome & Trim:
These early Corvettes have an abundance of chrome and trim pieces. All chrome pieces on this car are factory original or have been replaced with NOS Corvette parts, no reproduction or imitation aftermarket pieces have been used. The front and rear bumpers are excellent original examples. The horizontal finned front grille is in as new condition. The rear center mounted gas fill cap with insignia is in excellent original condition. Front turn signal bezels and rear taillight bezels are also in excellent condition. All window edge mouldings, windscreen frame, license plate trim, driver side mirror and door handle chrome is free of any pitting, dull areas or other imperfections. All Corvette script and Crossed Flag insignia is intact and in excellent condition.

Glass:
The windscreen is a tinted AS-1 piece while all other glass remains original GM-LOF Solid Tempered Safety Plate AS-2 in damage free condition.

Interior:
The rare white & blue interior features twin bucket seats that are in very good condition, free of any rips or tears and showing negligible wear. The inner door panels, armrests, headliner, sill plates and carpet are in excellent condition. The dash and console are in as new condition with a full complement of gauges and controls. The instrument panel houses the 160 m.p.h speedometer, 7,000 r.p.m tachometer, fuel, battery, temp and oil pressure gauges along with the factory Delco side mounted radio. Passenger side dash and the center console with 4-speed shifter are finished with brushed aluminum trim. The original Corvette steering wheel is in very good condition. All chrome interior trim, controls, door handles and window cranks etc. are in very good condition. Overall the interior presentation is clean and original.

Frame & Floors:
The underside of this car is just as clean as the top side with an excellent rustfree frame and undercarriage. The rad cradle and cowl/firewall area are also in very good condition.

Tires & Wheels:
The wheels are optional cast aluminum knock-off wheels with spinners fitted with modern Dunlop radial whitewall tires. The wheels are in excellent condition and the tires show approximately 80% tread life remaining.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 327 cu in rebuild performance engine, New engine compartment seal kit, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, New air cleaner assembly, New ignition shielding, New heated core, New battery, New horns.
TRANSMISSION: 4-speed manual transmission, New throw out bearing, New 4-speed shifter Undercarriage still retains all original undercoating.
SUSPENSION: Rebuilt heavy-duty suspension system, New heavy-duty upper & lower ball joints, New polyurethane suspension bushings, New heavy-duty front coil springs, New shock absorbers, New steering damper, New tie rod ends, New idler arm
EXTERIOR: All new vent & window weather stripping, New navy paint with white stinger hood, New side exhaust system and covers, New parking & tail light assemblies, New exterior emblems, New outside mirror, New big block hood, New gas door
INTERIOR: New carpeting with new front & rear heated barriers, New speedometer & tachometer faces, All Complete new leather interior, leather arm rest cushion, leather seat covers, heater and radio *****, New moulded seat backs, New floor mats, New door handles, New dash harness, New door panels, New sun visors, New dash pads, New seat foam, New seat belts, New head liner, New still plates
