Default Numbers matching '66 427 4 speed coupe

Numbers matching '66 427/425 4 speed coupe: US$62,500

54,049 miles car that's had one respray in its original Sunfire yellow (with black interior). New carpets were recently installed in the interior and all the trim pieces powder coated. The seat covers are original as are the date coded seat belts and original glove box liner (and are in "as new" condition).

Car went through a complete mechanical inspection in 2011 and all necessary repairs were made to ensure everything works the way it did when the car left the factory

Other options include all round tinted glass, power steering and power brakes, KH knock-off wheels, and factory side pipes along with the standard '66 features of AM/FM, power antenna and four wheel disc brakes.

Bird cage and frame are completely rust free.

Prior to its move to Toronto, car spent its life in the states of Texas and Arizona.

Below is a report on the authenticity of the car from an inspection by a Texas NCRS member

Importing a vintage car from Canada to US: The process is very simple and straightforward and is described in the link below. A number of shipping companies in Toronto routinely ship cars into all parts of the US. Two that I have used in the past are TFX International and Mackie. I would be happy to assist the buyer in making the necessary shipping arrangements and pre-inspection.

Very nice looking car. GLWS.

One curiosity - I thought that only St. Louis bodies were available with side pipes, that no AOL bodies were so equipped?

They are factory side pipes, just not installed at the factory. Could have been installed at the dealer when new, just like luggage racks and other items. Beautiful car. GLWTS. I also have an L72, and for those of us who love the thunder created through those pipes(not to mention how well it blows leaves from the driveway), there is nothing like it.

I guess it's meant to read as factory style side exhaust as opposed to a aftermarket style side exhaust.

Correct Nowhere Man. I've always referred to side pipes as "factory side pipes" in order to distinguish them from "after market side pipes", like these:

As the first responder to my ad (Easy Rhino) correctly pointed out, A. O. Smith bodied cars (which this car is) were never equipped with the side pipe option from the factory.

Sorry for any confusion this has caused.

Also, here's picture of the birdcage I took while I had the interior disassembled:
