327 250
3-speed
0 Miles
Riverside Red with Black Interior
Description:
This car was a “barn find”. Actually, it had been sitting for years in a nice garage until the owner passed away. The car has numbers matching body and engine and appear to be all original. This is a base model 327/250hp car mated with a 3-speed transmission. It’s final assembly date is June 23, 1964. From what we can see, the car appears to be all original. The instruments gauges that do not work are the tach, clock, odometer and trip odometer. The mileage on the speedo says 43,000 but that is not accurate.
The following work has been recently performed:
- Battery
- Battery tray
- Battery splash tray
- Carburetor (type that would have come on the car originally)
- Fuel line to carburetor
- Replaced oil, oil filter
- Flushed, replaced antifreeze
- Upper and lower radiator hoses
- Brake wheel cylinders
- Water pump
- Glove compartment, door and ignition locks and keys.
- Heater hoses
- Expansion tank straps.
- Fuel pump
- Spark plugs
- Gas pedal
- Thermostat
- Temperature sending unit.
This Corvette comes with a hardtop (not original to the car) and a 4-speed transmission that is period correct. If you do not want either or both of these items, the price of the car can be negotiated.
The car obviously needs some TLC. However, it is a car for a person, who after putting some more money into it, wants to drive a C2 Corvette now.
Price: $35,000
Location: Rancho Cordova CA
