For Sale 1962 Corvette
Reduced!!
For sale: My 1962 Corvette. NOM 327, powerglide, non-posi. Soft top only. The red interior is VERY VERY NICE and the “new” paper tag was on the convertible top when I got the car. The car starts and runs great and stops straight and firm. Hood, doors, convert lid and trunk close solidly with nice gaps and no sag in the doors. Chrome and stainless is in very nice condition. It has a 340hp GM manifold and dual point distributor. I believe the car originally was a 4 speed because it retains the bracket on the frame for the z-bar and hole in firewall with a worn grommet for clutch rod.
The following frame on restoration was completed since November with receipts:
The frame was stripped of fuel, brake and exhaust systems, scraped and wire brushed followed by Chassis Saver black. The frame is rock solid. Radiator top and bottom hoses, chrome alternator, fan belt, battery, starter, points, plugs, condensers, coil, cap, wires, hood release cables, wiper switch and cable, brake system from pedal to drums with auto adjusters added front and rear(thanks DZAUTO). Fuel system from gas cap to intake, fuse panel, shocks, rebound straps, CC deluxe exhaust system with Magnaflows from stock manifolds back including all mounting brackets and hardware. In dash speaker, defrost hoses, seat belts, complete soft top weather stripping with new hardware, Harrison radiator, refurbished wonder bar radio with new ***** and clock.
Things I’m aware of or not working: Speedo and Clock (rebuilt but doesn’t work). Heater fan hi speed only. It is a beautiful 15 foot driver but honestly needs body and paint to be truly outstanding.
Clear MI title in my name. $42,000 or reasonable offer. Located in Grand Rapids, MI
