Default Looking if my father's 58 has survived

Looking to see if anyone can track down my father's original 1958 Corvette Convertible, Serial # J58S 104150. Originally registered in Garfield, NJ. Not looking to buy it but interested to know if it's still around and stories of it's life since he sold it in the 1960s.

It's not listed on the C1 registry.

No, it's not a 57. I assume it's a 58, but it's missing the trunk irons, but it does have Silver wheels. I blew it up and it has a passenger door side mirror, wind deflectors on the door post and maybe another antenna in front of the passenger side tail light. Appears light Blue with Silver coves.

Definitely 58. Has 58-60 rear bumpers, and the rear fender reflectors found on 58s.

And seriously, I am really tired of explaining what NMVTIS is.

Google is your friend.

Thanks for the help everyone. It's a shame to think that it's either off the radar, parted out, or completely gone.

It is definitely a '58 from the Owner's club VIN specs. I also recall my father specifically mentioning not having the trunk chrome. Not sure about the visors.

BTW, for any other newbies like me, here's another VIN registration site:

I've been looking for my 1960 I bought as a teenager 41 years ago. I registered it on the C1 Registry as "Looking for owner". It is VIN # 62. You might give that a try. I have received a couple emails over the years because of it but no solid leads as of yet. Here it is...
