FS '67 427 engine
Looking to sell my '67 427 engine. I prefer not to put this into my '82, it belongs in a C2. I have more pictures and info available.
Block casting # 3904351 Casting date F 30 6, June 30, 1966
Intake casting # 3886848 Casting date F 22 6, June 22, 1966
Blocked stamped T0706 on starter pad
VIN pad blank after a previous decking
Fresh .040" overbore 427 CID
Balanced rotating assembly with forged Speed Pro L2300F pistons
Factory rods and crank
ARP main studs
Melling HV oil pump
Heads 3909802 oval ports dated B 15 7 and G 7 7
Heads just rebuilt with new valve guides, new 2.19 / 1.88 valves, new 1.550" springs rated up to .600 lift cam, new retainers and locks. New ARP rocker studs, new guideplates, new rockers.
New ARP head bolts
New Cloyes double roller timing chain and gears
New Lunati flat tappet cam and lifters 1,500-5,500 RPM range
Cam lift 0.527 int/0.558 exh, 293 duration, 112 lobe separation
Correct new intake manifold bolts
New clone valve covers with correct VC bolts and spreaders
Rebuilt original tach drive distributor, with new main shaft and tach drive gear. Original oil pan, timing cover, harmonic balancer
Due to the early casting date of the block, I built it as a 390 / 400 hp setup with the oval port heads. The cam has a nice lift and centerline spec to develop good street manners with either automatic or 4-speed.
I have all the receipts for the machine work and parts. The block has been sleeved, I can provide the details if you like.
