Default 1965 Convertible for sale

SOLD --

----------------------------------------------------

I put it up on ebay, I also advertised it here. It is a great car, and Remco, who asked for information about it here, bought it this week. Money arrived already via wire, and he is arranging shipping. Remco did it right (especially since he is in Holland): A local NCRS expert visited me late last week, went over the car carefully, he checked the vin and trim tags, the body, engine bay, etc etc and then sent a report to Holland.

ebay was a joke. I lowered the price for a quick sale, I do really have too many cars, I sold this one and I want to sell my equally nice MB 190sl. The main responses from ebay were either from a) Dealers with nonsense lowball offers; and b) People who liked what they saw in my ad, but did not believe the car could be so nice for this (low) price. One guy even sent me a private message cursing me out for selling the car at this price accusing me of being a scammer ("that's not the car you are really selling"); he could have sent an inspector here too if he wanted. And I also got a lot of stupid questions.

I am really happy it is going to a good home.

I need room in my garages, I am ready to buy a big block 390, but no room and I have a lot of cars, so the budget is limited now. So I am biting the bullet on my lovely 1965: It is for sale on ebay, fixed price of $48200. It is a wonderful car, needs nothing to my knowledge, I fixed everything I found wrong, the mechanics are strong and it is gorgeous. Here is the listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181821329689

Mark - Nicely written description. Very believable and sincere sounding. I hope you do well with the sale!

Remco,

I see you are in the Netherlands. I am not sure how you title your cars, but this car has a regular NJ title. There are about 20 pictures on the ebay site and a full description of the car. If you go there and look, and there is something else you need, just let me know. I will answer any questions here, just email me. The ebay site is:

www.ebay.com/itm/181821329689

If you purchase and wire the money, I will be happy to help your trucker when he loads up the car once the wire transfer is in my bank.
