Reposting for sale. trade for AC C2 coupe
We have decided to repost the 67 for sale. Going to spend more time with family in Fl. We drove 6K+ miles this last summer and the car runs perfect. Now has 43K documented miles. I have a photo of a nickel standing on edge on the air cleaner with the engine running. It is that smooth. Original drivetrain, interior(new carpet), and mostly original paint. No hit body off resto. I have installed an original teak wheel and have the original in perfect condition. $55K. Thats the price. Please PM with interest. Thanks and Happy New Year.

I too have a 67 Goodwood Green SM Coupe, ( restored to original, etc. ) Every time I pull the cover back on this vehicle I simply enjoy the fact that the C2 remains one of the most beautiful vehicles ever to come off an assembly line. Purely personal preference and subjective, but their design remains "timeless." Pretty sure you will not regret keeping yours at this point. I sense these cars are similar to an art lover owning a work by an artist who remains in vogue with every passing generation.

We have decided to keep the car. I should have had the thread deleted a while ago. We thought about buying a new one, but new Corvettes are everywhere. Many have never seen a car like ours. It is a good runner, 5K+ miles this Summer. It is really fun to drive, but not so good on long trips in the heat. We drove to Carlisle. 1150mi. It was HOT. No AC, and side exhaust are loud at 70mph with the windows open. I do love the sound. I am going to have to call the insurance co. and increase the mileage allotment again. We still have another month of beautiful Fall weather here in Vermont before salt arrives, maybe longer. Then off to Fl. for a while.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Your car is gorgeous, and seems priced very nicely, plus I love that color. Sorry I am building a car right now, but GLWS.

This would solve the problem of driving your car in the heat during the summer.
If A/C is the main objective this is a good solution and imo wouldn't have a negative impact on the value of your car.
If you just are wanting a factory air car then I understand but you have a well sorted out car and a new one might not be as nice.

67 coupe FS $55,000
I am bringing this post BTT. I have had many requests for photos this Spring. I have lowered the price. I have a truckload of C2 parts I will let go with the car, including the complete M20 setup we removed to replace with the original 3spd. We have found a house in Fl. so the car is back on the market. Please PM if you have an interest. Jim 802-349-5064

At Corvette shows, spectators flock around the C1 & C2s, with increasing interest in the C3s thru '72. Last year at Corvette Weekend in Eureka Springs, AR, there was a large contingent of C5 thru C7s with very little interest in them. The crowds gathered around the 1950s & 60s Corvettes. To me, most everything was better back "in the day." Keep your C2, you'll miss it.

Jim... there's nothing like having grandchildren.
My wife, and I feel the more the merrier! It's very hard to explain the love, and joy they bring until you have them.
A car is just that... a car. GLWS
