Hi all, I have decided to sell my 1956 Corvette. The restoration was a frame off restoration. The car was completely repainted Polar white with a Silver Cove. The car is all original and located in Florham Park, NJ.

-The original engine is a 265 cu. in. 225hp with 2 four barrel carburetors which has been totally rebuilt and currently has 50 miles

-Transmission was rebuilt, 3 speed original with stock linkage

-Complete exhaust system is stainless steel

-The interior has been completely redone

Please see below pictures, feel free to contact me at 201-247-8672 or hlg0640@optonline.net.

Price is $85,000 or best offer

Thanks Greg... I am sad to see it go, I have had it since 1989. I priced it reasonable so that it could go to a good home!

Is that the engine in the photos?

Don't take this the wrong way, as it is a beautiful car, but I noticed something odd. If you have an HEI in the engine, why do you have a ballast resistor installed?

I'm struggling with the "all original" in your description. There is no divider panel in the trunk. The trunk area should be painted same color as the interior. The hood weatherstrip originally was on the hood, not on the body. Must be that these are "beforehand" pictures?

Do you have the "original" engine and carb set-up? Could this be a 327 engine with HEI distributer, single high volume carb on a high-rise alum manifold? Beautiful car, but the "original" designation is suspect. I agree with most of the above comments, and not meant as criticism, just meant to get an accurate description. I had a '56 years ago and consider it one of my favorite years. Good luck with your sale.
