If it were my car,I would want as much as possible for it
Called Human Nature.
Appraisals are usually far fetched, and more than the car is really worth.
I am a huge 450hp fan,these cars as a nice restored driver,not NCRS
judged cars are 75K cars.
IMHO he will get 35K,and new owner will have 75K in it when done.

Safety Car
I don't know, I see a 90K-100k car if restored correctly. This is one of those cars that a buyer can easily end up underwater in quickly. I would say the car is worth 38-40 as is if its the original paint and has not been hit, compression test is ok, and has ALL original parts. It will take 40K-50K easy to restore correctly, more once all expenses are calculated in and car is judged. Only chance for someone to really make money off the car is to clean it up, get it running, and then turn a small 5 grand profit off of it. Just my opinion.

Rather difficult for an appraiser or even Nostradamus to appraise the condition of a NON running drive train.
There-in lies just "1" of many potential cost increases in a restoration with an apart/non running car.
Might as well go to Las Vegas & "roll the dice", same kind of gamble/risk!...Mark
