I would certainly consider an SWC, but I've found most owners overestimate the value of car that was perfected 4 years later. Now that the Testarossa is becoming more valuable the same thing is happening with the high single mirrors, that were once the cheapest TR available. That being said I was headed 1800 miles away in Maryland to purchase a car just like yours but with bubble flares, but it was sold before I could get out of the state. If you are looking for a reasonable price I would surely consider your car.

Autocrosser
I feel much differently than the OP.
He feels A car that is "Inferior" is worth less money.
That couldn't be farther from the truth in unique situations.
Try buying a 63 ZO6 is it worth less money because the 2016
Makes it "Inferior" NO is the answer,or the "Inferior" Ferrari that
Just sold for 36 million when there's Ferraris that could out perform it all day.The OP doesn't believe in "collectibility".
For those of you looking for an Autocrosser, there's a real retired one for sale In Manchester MD,guys name is Ron.
Search projects on Carsonline.com.He has one with bubbled type of flares.
Sorry but the SWC bring more money because of the collectibility, and
There not inferior......Please

I'm not butt hurt????
I personally don't believe any of the C2s are inferior to each other.
Those were your words not mine.
I'm a fan personally of the 66,I was born that that year.
Early ones were rated at 450hp,there rated as second fastest muscle car of all time to the original 66 SC427 Cobra.
I also prefer the 3 Gills in the front fender to the 63-64 or 67s.
Splits are my second love.
None are Inferior, one brings more money than another because that's what the market dictates.
Tri powered 67 by many is cream of the crop, including myself.
I've owned dozens of these cars, and with the limited miles we all put on these cars I also don't see the big difference in Drum Brakes to Disc
Personally.Autocrossing yes big difference, but tooling around town No.
I will PM you with any Project Coupe I come across.
I see them every once in a while.Im 15 minutes from Watkins Glen
I don't know if they compete there or not?
I will excuse myself for being on the Salty side.
Where here for the same reason.
Best Wishes
Dave

Advanced
'65 Coupe with flares, former L78 big block
Probably not what you are looking for as it is too nice to strip down into a racer but here it is anyway:
1970s style custom Vette with mildly flared fenders by Bruno's Corvettes of Studio City.
Now has a 327 but was originally powered by the L78 396/425hp Rat Motor. There were 618 coupes optioned with the L-78.
Currently powered by a period correct 1968 327/350hp (HT suffix) with "camel hump" heads.
Has a new Holley carb and aluminum manifold.
Ignition is a 1970s HEI with mechanical tach drive.
1970s American Torque Thrust wheels with Radial T/A tires.
Original black leather interior.
Original date coded windshield and other glass.
Power windows, telescopic steering column, and factory side pipes.
Original steering wheel and shifter.
Everything works correctly on this car:
All gauges function normally including original ticking clock (not a replacement quartz movement).
Headlights rotate normally.
Tight steering and good brakes that don't leak fluid.
Excellent body panel fitment and has a '67 hood with functional air scoop.
Complete front bumpers are included.
Great driver and it's Big Block history and SoCal custom history makes it a good investment.
Located in Simi Valley, CA.........................$49,900.
