The stamp looks strange and for that matter so do the trim tag rivets.

I'm new at this stuff. Regarding the stamp....is what you're questioning is the that the two sets of numbers appear to be different styles and sizes? Also, perhaps the placement?

Also, what is it you note about the trim tag rivets? Thanks!

actually yes, the numbers on pad are stamped in 2 diff places first at engine build plant and second vin stamp at assembly plant. first stamp is before the heads where on. that's why so high.
tag rivets look just fine to me.

seller says leather interior so discount knowledgeable seller. look how far the clutch pedal is from the brake. would be nice to see casting date on block. plenty of other redundant pictures.

Default 67 sold is a fake?

This is the first tank sticker that I have seen without the hand written 0-500 number on it. The # is usually within 2 digits of the vin. #.
Also, if the buyer leaves feedback, he will identify himself and someone can point him to this forum....or not.

This is my tank sticker. Hand written # is 312. My vin is 6314. Perhaps not all tank stickers have this #? If you have a tank sticker, please take a look and prove me wrong. i.e. Is your hand written # within 2 digits of the vin? Has anyone seen a sticker without the hand written #? Please help me get this idea out of my head. Every tank sticker I have seen has this relationship.
John Z. has told me there is a correlation. John, please correct me if I misunderstood you. Thanks

Upon closer inspection, I can see part of a hand written circle and maybe a 4? Very faded out but possible.

Pretty car, but when you look at it through your NCRS glasses you throw up in your mouth.

Looks like the auction ended- not sold- and the BIN asking price was $124k. I don't think it sold for that, or sold at all.

634.Usually, the production number will be less than by a few digits or equal to the last three digits of the vin or the last three digits of the vin less 500 (the production increment).

With regard to selling on ebay, I think a lot of sales are made after the auction ends. Negotiation. No ebay % fee if not sold?? In cases like this the buyer is never known as no feedback is left identifying this individual.
I no longert use ebay. They require Paypal. I do not like being told how I am to pay. Just another way for them to make $.
