A bump and a question.
Why is the rear wheel chocked in the driveway picture ?

Thanks for the bump!

The parking brake works as good as most of these C2's do, which is ok. However the driveway is steeper than it looks in the picture (have torn a meniscus and a rotator cuff falling while shoveling snow in the winter to prove it). So it's just a precaution to make sure the car doesn't end up in my neighbor's living room .
Cheap peace of mind and habit

It's a very nice older repaint. Beautiful for a driver.

No video of it running.

My understanding from an eBay ad for the car in 2009 was that the engine was professionally rebuilt. I have no proof of that but it never fails to start right up, even after sitting for weeks and runs very strong. Sounds like all L79 side pipe C2s should - AWESOME!

Are the rocker panel molding brackets still in place under the side exhaust? Can you see where the exhaust bezels were in the rear exhaust panel?

Thanks

I have looked and cannot see remnants of the rocker panel molding brackets. The rear valence was replaced with the plain one that does not have the holes and exhaust bezels when the side exhaust was installed long before I bought the car.

If your questions are leading to the idea of removing the side exhaust and putting back under car exhaust, I would not recommend doing that to this car.

This car is for someone who wants an L79 with side pipes - the most awesome sound to ever come out of an American auto factory!

Thank you! I'm tempted to offer you this car and cash for your beautiful big block. However, been there, done that with the big blocks and am also looking to put the money towards a second home to winter somewhere warmer than Colorado...
