Sorry Mattba, hope you sell your car soon. If I can change my wife's mind, I'll let you know. I have a '55 and she's giving me the "one Corvette is enough for now" routine...

Yep - traffic is picking up already. Two interested parties have scheduled to view it this weekend.

Also got the following inquiry from a another Craigslist scammer this week - "I don't want to have to pay for a lease on a new 1, so I am trying to buy used from a private seller. Please send me the seventeen digit vin number asap so I can check out what's on the autocheck and I didn't see it in your post, so can u respond with your cell so I can reach u later?"

Default Damn that's a great looking car

I am not in the market for a second Corvette (not what you want to hear when you are trying to sell your car)...but saw this beauty and just had to post how nice looking it is. Normally, you see white with black or red interior (red is nice too) but blue and blue top is so different. And, with all the documentation you have I truly cannot believe this car is still available. Price seems very fair too. Good luck with the sale.

Bump for a car I'd love to buy...
I can't believe it hasn't sold yet. It is actually underpriced compared to many
'67's I've seen advertised.

Mike - PM sent.

In the six months I have been marketing the car I have had seven parties actually come to look. Nobody has been disappointed in what they see or how the car has been represented. Each person's story is different in what they are looking for and what their expectations are for a 1967 L79 numbers matching convertible for $55k - some realistic and some not so much. They were all interested but nobody has pulled the trigger yet.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of tire kickers out there, not really sure what they want, or just wanting to see how good a deal they can get.

Again, you have a very fair price for a very nice car. It will sell. Hold the price, you are doing the right thing for that particular car.

No - Although the car is a St. Louis car, it did not originally come with side pipes. They appear (and sound) to have been added many years ago. You hear this one coming before you see it. Most awesome sound to ever come out of both sides of an American car!

Default New Price

New Price - $53,500

Almost everyone who I hear from agrees that $55,000 is a fair price for this car. But if you are not in Colorado then you have to add shipping and the price becomes more than $55,000. As most of the potential buyers are in states other than Colorado I have lowered the price on the car by $1,500 to $53,500 so that most buyers can purchase the car delivered for $55,000.

The new price is firm at $53,500 regardless of your actual shipping costs.

Thought about starting a new thread but I don't know what purpose that would serve unless I waited a year or so for the new one. Same pics, same lookie loos, etc.

I'm hoping the new lower price that will cover shipping will make a difference. eBay has been suggested before and I have drafted an ad and am just waiting a little longer to get into the Spring weather before pulling the trigger on that.
