Were most hardtop-only cars sold to the West Coast? Like CA? I'm trying to figure out the early history on my '57, which I think may have originally been sold to CA. Not easy to find out.

Your 62
I personally like your car. I have a 61, a former drag car with 13k mi. I had the choice of 62 340 hp, heater delete or mine. Oh, yes, the maroon 62 was 69k, and mine was 44k. Shows me a few things. The 69k car did a lot of things right, but that costs. My 61 does a different lot of things that i like righter and some wronger (like wrong motor and rear and needed clutch, 411s back, and hardtop. But what i wanted was more power, different looks, mags, custom pleated interior, custom paint., so i got the grab bag of goodies i really like, and made my wrong things right.
you need to find the right person who appreciates all yours has to offer. And augment those things like perfect body. Well, paint looks dull, so maybe a detail. Side and morning/eve pics. Maybe i see your car, i dont mind the hp and appreciate that it is an intact driver, But i see paint, and im thinking a year long trip to paint/resto shop. And i still get a non high hp car. To me, the paint would be the deal maker/breaker of this vs a mid 40s car to fix up. But, thats me. Your buyer may be different.
