For Sale 1962 Corvette All original!
++++++SOLD++++++SOLD++++++
New improvements! Al Knock dash pad, carpet, and date coded windshield to the tune of about $5,000!
New price $62,500
I purchased this car 2007 from Joe Calcagno, a well-respected Northern California
Corvette collector. Joe had purchased the car from who we think was the original owner in the early 80’s. After he purchased the car it sat in dry storage until I bought the car. The car was originally sold new in San Diego CA. It spent most of its life in California with a short time in Lake Tahoe and Oregon state.
When we purchased the car we just cleaned and detailed it and took it to its first NCRS Judging event where it received one of its many top flight awards at both Chapter and Regional NCRS events. At that time I was encouraged to have the car BOW TIE JUDGED which we did in 2009 at the NCRS Nationals in San Jose, CA. The car received 3 OUT OF THE 4 BOW TIE STARS POSSIBLE. These awards and judging sheets will support how original the car is and are included in the sale!

IMO you have three issues hurting your sale:
1. The are a few "minor" things that need to be done. If the are truly "minor", I would just do them and take those issues off of the table. Most people that spend $50k for a car don't want to have to fix anything. If they are that handy, they buy a $30k car and fix it up.
2. The color. If this were a black, white, red or even blue car it would be sold.
3. No soft top AND not a big HP car.
Just my two cents, but I am not an expert.
GLWS.

What a great car. If I was looking I would have already called.
There's nothing wrong with a hardtop only car. Colors are great. Assuming the dash pad is original, I would not change it. The person that buys this call is likely to want the car intact as much as possible.
Are you advertising elsewhere? As great as this forum is, it doesn't reach the number of potential buyers that some other sites do.
