Default FS:Sensibly Restored/Modified 1962 Vette

Since prices for NCRS numbers matching garage queens are stagnant, perhaps you should be looking for a beautifully restored, sensibly modified and “fun to drive” C1 Corvette. This 1962 Corvette underwent a total ground-up restoration in 2011. The body, hardtop, soft-top and interior have all been completely restored. The car was disassembled, stripped and repainted original Roman Red using 2-step acrylic polyurethane paint. Ride and handling have been significantly improved with JMR independent front suspension, front disk brakes and Flaming River rack and pinion power steering. The high-performance 406 cubic inch Chevy V8, Tremec 5-speed transmission and 3:36 posi-traction rear end will give you all the thrill you’re looking for. Over $100K invested to make this Corvette a perfect weekend driver. Original numbers matching 327/300 engine, Borg Warner T10 4-speed transmission and a host of original parts come with the car. Car is located in La Quinta, California. Contact seller for more information and a complete list of parts.

Asking $82,500 OBO.

Do you mind posting a photo of the rear (ahead of left or right rear wheel) rocker panel molding?

THANKS!

Thank you for your interest in my 62 Vette. I love 57 Bel Airs and have owned on in the past but unfortunately, I'm trying to down-size my collection so a trade would not work for me.
