My 1967 Rally Red big block was born with both tops.
C05 black soft top and C07 hard top.
The c07 hard top had plexiglass back light until 1968 wherein back light was glass.
The extra cost optional C07 was $231.00 in 1967 model year.
Also in 1967 vinyl top covering in black was available for C07 option.
In 1967 14,436 Corvette Convertibles were built. 6,880 customers ordered the auxiliary hard top for 48% of convertible production.
The convertible top was easily removed for colder weather. The trick was to mark the outline of the convertible attachment bolt washers with lead pencil. and remove soft top from Corvette if you wanted to do so.
When hard top was attached and soft top removed, you had lots of room behind the seats.
In the spring the procedure was reversed and you would line up the bolts with pencil marks. The soft top would go back dead nuts without any adjustments to the body of Corvette.

I learn something new every day my self.
I actually drove the 1967 Corvette BB through Massachusetts winters.
I put brand new studded snow tires on the Corvette in winter.
The Corvette throw all of the 98 studs per tire out on the road ways.

1965 Corvette was a very good model year.
The bucket seats had more comfort.
Back in the day I drove 1965 Corvette with RPOL76 engine (327CID 365BHP.
Engine had large four barrel carburetor, special high lift cam shaft, mechanic lifters, 4-speed Muncie close ratio transmission, and special performance/mountain 4:11.1 positraction axle.
One of the fastest Corvette's ever driven.
