Craigslist alerts / posts end up disappearing pretty quickly.
Might I suggest that when you give us a heads up on a Craigslist ad, take a screen capture of the ad with the contact information, and add that to your post as an attachment.

Craigslist has become a complete joke. Here in the Boston area 50% of the adds are bogus and they are pretty easy to spot. If you call or e-mail and get a response, just ask when you can view the car. You will either get a long story of why you can't view it or you will get no response. If anyone asks you for money before you view the item just move on.
