This is an exceptional C2 Midyear trailer queen, very nice work Vernon , as I know how many man hrs went into my Top Flight one owner 66 silver on silver BB vert that has 39,000 org miles, no hit car. Perhaps its the time of year and location of car in Canada. As I know when selling my other C2 out of Vancouver, BC allot of our US neighbors were not interested in the import process or shipping. As for potential other Canadian buyers our dollar is a major factor, as the risk of it going par again one day is a 35% loss that no CDN wants to risk.

I have pondered each of the considerations that you have suggested, and more. Additionally, selling the car at a fair price with the limited exposure of CF narrows my market - aka "needle in a hay stack".
The fair price will be negotiated between myself and the new owner. The cross border sales arrangement does add another hurdle but it isn't difficult, just additional administration. And if that dissuades a buyer, well this car isn't for them.
Whoever sees and buys this car will know they've bought a beauty at a fair price.
Exporting this car to the USA is very simple and can be completed from the comfort of a buyer's home. I have imported and exported many cars from my Canadian base just east of Toronto. Yes there are some costs for a Customs broker but compared to the value of this car the costs are minimal. Interested parties can verify this by calling TFX International or Mackie Vehicle Transport. There others that can do this I just happen to be familiar with these two companies both in the Toronto area.

Restoration starts...engine pulled September 2011 and motor rebuilding commences December 2011...in pics you see the stamp pad at the time the engine was prepped for rebuild, and again after re-build at time of installation in May 2013.
The restoration was complete for the NCRS Regionals in June 2013 and NCRS Nationals in July 2013. Top Flight was achieved at both events. However, even at the 'top of the class', there's room for improvement so additional small restoration improvements were made based on NCRS Regionals' and Nationals' feedback. Top Flight was achieved again with NCRS in 2014.
