Default Looking For 67 Convertible

I know this is a huge stretch. Looking for a 67 convertible that I owned back in the early eighties in Syracuse NY. Don't have the VIN. It was a red/blk soft top car. Originally a bb but had a 65 365 hp in it when I bought it. Sidepipes, telescopic wheel and p/w. I bought it from Bob Bachle (sp) at the Corvette Barn in Syracuse. Traded it back to him for a 56 around 83 or so. Any info would be appreciated. You can pm me or email me at dmcg1vette@gmail.com
Thanks.

Go to the DMV and see if you can pull all the cars registered to you?

I'll give that a try. That would at least get me the VIN.
Thanks.

Default Try this

Back in those days Syracuse was a relatively small and closed Corvette community if I recall. I know Bob as he serviced my '67 in the mid-80s.

I would contact the Syracuse Corvette Club. They were a tight and passionate group back then. They may recall the car or you may get lucky and a current member or former member may own it. Ask them the name and contact info for the former Historian. I think his last name was Sutton. Great guy He knew everything. Also, ask for Rick Rivettes information. He was heavily involved in those days. Also, ask for Jeff Bernatovich's last known contact info. You could also google these guys. See what they can remember.

Default Bob and Nancy

Yes. Bob and Nancy were very nice and I considered them friends. When I moved to Florida I made s point of stopping and saying hello when I came back to Syracuse for a visit. But it's been 15 or more years. I have an old business card of Bob's in my tool drawer

Let me know how you make out. Those 3 guys lead the club for many years.

- Tom.

I sent an email off to the now president of the Syracuse Corvette Club. Waiting for his reply. I'll let you know.
Thanks again for the info.

Just wondering how you got the VIN. Was it motor vehicles?

I called the Corvette Barn where I bought the car 30+ years ago. I was lucky enough to speak with Nancy who is an owner and the lovely wife of Bob. She came up with it. I just got lucky!
Thanks Nancy!
